IFF at ACI Annual Convention 2026: Modular Lightbox Backdrop
For IFF at the ACI Annual Convention 2026 in Orlando, Frame Plus supplied a freestanding backlit wall for an existing shell-scheme stand. The venue structure had to remain unchanged, so the display needed to provide its own support and cover the brand presentation area. The configuration uses 2 m lightbox wall, 1 m lightbox wall.

Case study · ACI Annual Convention 2026

For IFF at the ACI Annual Convention 2026 in Orlando, Frame Plus supplied a freestanding backlit wall for an existing shell-scheme stand. The venue structure had to remain unchanged, so the display needed to provide its own support and cover the brand presentation area.
A Freestanding Brand Wall Within an Existing Shell Scheme
IFF’s convention display began with a venue condition: the existing shell-scheme structure had to remain unchanged. The new branded presentation therefore needed to stand independently in front of it. This requirement shaped the project more directly than a preference for any particular graphic size.
The two-metre and one-metre wall sections together provided a three-metre-wide presentation. Because the sections supplied their own support, the branding did not rely on altering the venue walls. This is an important distinction for exhibitors comparing a freestanding backdrop with graphics that depend on an existing wall or suspension arrangement.
Display Configuration and Printed Graphics
A 2 m lightbox wall and a 1 m lightbox wall form a combined 3 m wide backdrop in front of the shell scheme. Using two standard wall widths lets the components serve as separate displays later, rather than tying the project to a single custom frame.
The printed graphic and supporting frame are separate parts of the installation. The frame establishes the display format; the fabric carries the project-specific artwork. This lets the configuration be described in terms of both the structure used and the message presented, rather than treating the finished wall as a permanent printed construction.
Installation and Use at the Venue
One person assembled the configuration in 60 minutes. The two sections covered the stand frontage while keeping the venue structure intact. At a later event, the 2 m wall can work as a standalone backdrop and the 1 m wall as a side display.
The use of two standard widths also preserved options after the convention. A later layout could use the wider section on its own and position the narrower section elsewhere. Those are possible future configurations, not additional installations claimed for this case. The recorded project shows how an exhibition backwall can respond to shell-scheme restrictions while keeping the display components reusable.

Artwork and Future Display Planning
When preparing a similar display, the graphic layout should follow the role of each surface in the actual space. Main imagery, supporting text and logos need to be arranged around the finished frame dimensions and the way visitors will view them. The artwork preparation guide explains the print-file requirements for this stage of the process.
For comparison, the Baliston project documents a different application of illuminated display components. The useful comparison is the requirement behind each layout, rather than assuming that every event needs the same number or size of walls.
