FRAME PLUS X NARRATIVE
Narrative 2025: Freestanding Backlit Office Brand Wall Case Study
For Narrative’s office in Auckland in 2025, Frame Plus supplied a 2 m wide freestanding backlit brand wall. This was an office display rather than a trade fair stand: the graphic needed its own support and the flexibility to move between rooms. The configuration uses 2 m freestanding lightbox wall.

Case study · Narrative 2025

For Narrative’s office in Auckland in 2025, Frame Plus supplied a 2 m wide freestanding backlit brand wall. This was an office display rather than a trade fair stand: the graphic needed its own support and the flexibility to move between rooms.
An Office Brand Wall with Its Own Support
Narrative’s Auckland installation was an office branding project, not an exhibition booth. The display needed to provide an illuminated brand surface within an existing workplace and retain the option to move when the room arrangement changed. That requirement led to a freestanding structure rather than a graphic installation dependent on a fixed wall behind it.
The two-metre display supported its own silicone-edge fabric graphic without ceiling suspension. This separated the branded surface from the building fabric: the office provided the setting, while the frame provided the graphic support and illumination. The distinction is relevant when considering where a brand wall can sit within a working interior.
Display Configuration and Printed Graphics
The 2 m freestanding lightbox wall supports a printed SEG fabric graphic without suspension from a ceiling or a fixed wall behind it. The frame stands independently as a permanent brand surface, while its dismantled format allows the display to be relocated when the office layout changes.
The printed graphic and supporting frame are separate parts of the installation. The frame establishes the display format; the fabric carries the project-specific artwork. This lets the configuration be described in terms of both the structure used and the message presented, rather than treating the finished wall as a permanent printed construction.
Installation and Use at the Venue
One person assembled the office wall in 15 minutes. The self-supporting structure lets Narrative move the display between rooms instead of rebuilding a fixed branded wall. Replaceable fabric graphics allow the illuminated surface to follow future brand or campaign updates.
The recorded installation time was 15 minutes for one person. After assembly, the display could remain as a brand surface, with dismantling available when relocation was needed. Replaceable fabric also created an option for future campaign or brand updates. These are capabilities of the configuration; the case does not claim that Narrative has already carried out a particular later rebrand.

Artwork and Future Display Planning
When preparing a similar display, the graphic layout should follow the role of each surface in the actual space. Main imagery, supporting text and logos need to be arranged around the finished frame dimensions and the way visitors will view them. The artwork preparation guide explains the print-file requirements for this stage of the process.
For comparison, the Metis project documents a different application of illuminated display components. The useful comparison is the requirement behind each layout, rather than assuming that every event needs the same number or size of walls.
