Minute-by-Minute: The 12-Minute Build
Minutes 0–5: Snap the Frame Together
Start with the base. Take two extrusion segments and one corner connector. Push the connector into one segment — click. Push the other segment into the same connector — click. That's one corner done.
Repeat for all four corners. Lay the bottom frame on the floor, attach base plates at each corner. Now build upward: vertical segments click into the base corners, top horizontal segments click into the verticals.

Minutes 5–9: Insert the SEG Fabric
This is the part that makes people nervous. It shouldn't be.
The SEG fabric panel has a thin silicone beading sewn around all four edges. The frame has a channel (a narrow groove) running around its entire perimeter. Your job: push the beading into the channel.

Start at a top corner. Push the silicone edge into the channel at the corner. Then work along the top edge — push, push, push — every 10–15cm. Then down one side. Then along the bottom. Then up the other side. Back to your starting corner.

Minutes 9–12: Connect Power and Light Up

- Find the LED driver connector — it exits the frame at the bottom right, clearly labelled.
- Plug in the driver — push the connector until it clicks.

The Three Things That Go Wrong (And the 60-Second Fix for Each)

1. Why does the silicone beading pop out during installation?
Symptom: The silicone beading pops out when you try to seat the adjacent edge.
Fix: Seat the corner first, then work 10cm out in both directions from that corner before continuing along the edge. The fabric needs equal tension on both sides of the corner to stay seated.

2. Why is one section of my lightbox dark?
Symptom: Everything lights up except one rectangular section.
Fix: That section's internal connector is unseated. Find the connector at the junction between the lit and dark segments. Push until it clicks.

3. Why does my assembled frame wobble?
Symptom: The assembled frame rocks slightly when you push it.
Fix: Check that all four base plates are flat on the floor. On uneven venue floors, rotate the adjustable feet on the base plates (¼ turn = 2mm height change). Also verify cross-bracing is fully seated — an unclicked cross-brace is the #1 cause of lateral wobble.
